Steve Jobs and a team of Apple executives will kick off the company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) with a keynote address on Monday, 6 June where they will unveil the new OSX Lion - the eighth major release of Mac OSX,  and a host of other new products.

The keynote will also serve as the launchpad for the next version of the iPhone, iPad and iPod (Touch) operating system, iOS 5, as well as iCloud, Apple’s upcoming cloud services offering.

WWDC will feature more than 100 technical sessions presented by Apple engineers. Although tickets are sold out for the San Francisco event - if recent developers conferences by Google and others are anything to go by, there will be plenty of live streaming action to keep up with announcements.
